Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These Terms govern use of BadAssButler69, a self-hosted Postiz instance operated privately by Kevin Butler. By connecting a social account you agree to them.
1. Purpose
A personal, single-operator tool to schedule and publish the operator's own content to his own connected accounts, including TikTok. Not a public/multi-user service.
2. Authorized use
Only manages accounts the operator owns; won't be used to access or post to any account he doesn't own, or in any way that violates the connected platforms' terms, including TikTok's Terms of Service and Developer Terms.
3. Content responsibility
The operator is solely responsible for all content posted and warrants it complies with each platform's policies and community guidelines and all applicable laws.
4. Platform APIs
The app posts through official platform APIs (e.g. TikTok Content Posting API), subject to those platforms' terms and limits.
5. Availability
Self-hosted, provided “as is” and “as available,” no uptime guarantee; the operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue it anytime.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from use of the app or interruption of the connected platforms.
7. Termination
Authorization can be revoked anytime via the platform's app settings, after which access ends.
8. Changes
Terms may be updated; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
